If you find yourself asking “Gee, Mr. Peabody, what does Ron Nurwisah do at the Post all day?” Well, I help maintain nationalpost.com, writing headlines, editing stories, putting in links, photos and all of that good web stuff.
I also often blog. Right now I’m filling in for one of the writers who does a daily roundup of weird news called Going Postal.
I’ll also be doing a lot of posts on the election at our blog Posted. Here’s one I did tonight on Elizabeth May Sex Pot download At First Sight film

My co-worker Scott Deveau had a very, very close call in Afghanistan. He was in an armoured vehicle hit by an IED over the weekend. His post is here. Epic Movie
The conversation naturally turned to IEDs, and which armoured vehicle was safer when they were struck by one.
Then all of the sudden the Earth opened up and spat us out.
The closest thing I can compare it to is a car accident. You’re cruising along, listening to your tunes on the radio, when all of the sudden you’re rolling over in the ditch and the crystal clear reality of the situation hits you like a ton of bricks.
The IED hit us in mid-sentence. Flipped the vehicle, hanging us from our seatbelts. The blast had blown my helmet and my glasses clear off my head and honestly, I had no idea what had happened until I heard Tobi screaming “Holy shit! Holy shit!”

My friend Shari went to a wedding full of Americans this weekend and she proceeded to tell me some of the more quaint things they said….

Also working on the National Post news blog Posted has rekindled the competitive blogger in me. My post on the Creation Museum even got some snarky readers commenting.
