Remember when I posted about London’s tweed run (a little get together of some of London cyclists who decided to dress in gentlemanly tweed and take to the streets). It turns out San Francisco also did a similar event.
And they have the photos to prove it!
I’m now just pondering when some well-connected cyclist (hey Tino
, I’m looking at you buddy!) could throw together a Toronto version in a month or so when it gets a bit warmer, but not too warm for tweed.
After all, there’s already a precedent for Edwardian-dressing and cycling in the currently-on-hiatus Royal Society of Adventurology

Hey Ron. i’m so in for a toronto tweed ride.. people should just show up at critical mass dressed to the nines and spread the word from there…i’m so into finding some vintage wool cycling caps and suspenders for spring…The toronto star back in the 30′s used to have a newspaper delivery service via bicycles…to bad i sold my old vintage delivery bike…
