The American Society of Magazine Editors have released their list of best magazine covers of the year
. I hope New York’s take on the Spitzer scandal takes home the big trophy for cover of the year. Here it is. BRILLIANT.

After waiting with baited breath and seeing an empty storefront slowly get filled with cookbooks, pots, pans and other tantalizing things, Good Egg has finally opened in Kensington Market (267 Augusta).
It’s a cookbook store that also sells a lot of kitchen-related tchotkes. Some photos below (click for a bigger version). The staff are charming and knowledgeable, the store and merchandise are downright adorable. And with fall bringing all sorts of yummy fresh produce into the market it’s also a good time to pick up a new cookbook or two, load up on some fresh veggies and cook yourself (or your loved ones) a nice meal.
