The smartest book cover I've seen in a long time
Jul 03, 2008 in Books
This cover from the Penguin’s Great Ideas series is one of the smartest designs I’ve seen in a while (Click on book jacket for a full size version). It’s for Walter Benjamin’s essay “Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction.” So nerdy, it’s great.
In other awesome book cover news, Boing Boing points to the Shepard Fairey Orwell book jackets (also for Penguin) . Fairey is the guy best known for the Obey campaign and also the string of striking Obama posters which have knocked people’s socks off.
I also want to point out to the Premiere de Couverture blog See Arnold Run movie download
The Heartbreak Kid film The French Connection movie
(don’t worry folks, he blogs in English), a snazzy book cover blog out of Montreal. Well met, sir. More posts please!
