Hot authors!

Over the weekend I had a chance to hang out at Book Expo Canada. I also got a chance to meet two of my favourite authors Lee Henderson and Joseph Boyden.
Both men have novels coming out in the Fall. Henderson’s is a long-awaited novel set in 19th-century Vancouver that involves the great Vancouver fire, and naked lumberjack wrestling. Boyden’s is a ‘sequel’ to the amazing war novel Three Day Road The Big Blue buy .
OK, the real purpose of this post…. both these men are quite studly. And my friend Alexis agrees that Boyden is a dreamboat (also, a very charming guy). Sorry ladies, he’s taken. Henderson may or may not be single, we never got to that line of questioning.
So, if we were to create a hypothetical calendar of cute male Canadian authors who’d be on the list? Who’d heat up those cold February weekends? Whose hand do you want to hold while walking through the park in early spring? Which poet/playwright/novelist would you want to spend those romantic summer evenings with? The lines are open.
Oh, if any publisher or other group (I’m looking at you Quill and Quire!) decides to do hot authors of Canada calendar, I want a cut. Or if you do a hot women authors of Canada edition, I’d like an invite to the launch party. I’m not hard to please.
