Junot Diaz’ The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao
is the best book I’ve read in the last year. There I said it.
It’s funny, at times beautiful and often times heartbreakingly sad but always, always addictive

Super Mario Bros. Now that spring [really, it's above freezing and my allergies are going to kick in any day now] is here I’m coming out of hibernation and ironically listening to a band whose name is Bon Iver (it sounds like good winter en Francais, although it is misspelled).
NPR has an amazing live set of his available for your listening pleasure. Highly recommended for people who love Iron and Wine, Mountain Goats, that ilk.
