Michael Hirschcorn in the Atlantic writes about the epidemic of quirk. Run Fatboy Run ipod
Apparently pop culture is just too quirky for its own good.
Super Troopers hd He cites examples such as This American Life, Wes Anderson, Miranda July. All things I love. Well, I bite my thumb at you Michael Hirschorn. One of the great things about contemporary pop culture is the sheer diversity of it now.
For every ten This American Lifes (Lives?) we have an achingly “normal” show like Two and Half Men. For every ten Wes Andersons we have directors like Michael Bay and McG.
I would bite my thumb at you sir, but I’m afraid that you might find that too quirky.
