New York magazine ran an article a couple of weeks ago on how kids today are more than willing to show extremely private parts of their lives online. The three key ideas of these new show-offy kids:
1) They think they have an audience
2) They’ve archived their adolescence

The flip side is this CNN story on how vanity is on the rise among college students.
Sigh.
The study asserts that narcissists “are more likely to have romantic relationships that are short-lived, at risk for infidelity, lack emotional warmth, and to exhibit game-playing, dishonesty, and over-controlling and violent behaviors.”
Yeah…. we’re raising a society of sociopaths and the best part is that we’ll be able to find out about it on any number of social networking sites.
