Lazy Sunday….

Ok, not so lazy. Finished a book review for Quill and Quire, drafted a campaign update for my TPSC campaign against truck billboards and now I’m sitting at Tequila Bookworm Mum & Dad buy
reading things online.
A few things that caught my eye:
Harvard got its first woman president. A good thing considering Larry Summers was a touch mysgonistic. That sound you hear is the other shoe dropping. (from the NYT)
The State Dept. apparently asked a bunch of writers to write about what it means to be American. Includes Michael Chabon (one of my favourites) and heavy hitters like Richard Ford and former poet laureate Robert Pinsky. (from Metafilter)
Disgrace ipod And finally a French prof writes a book about how to talk about books you haven’t read and sound smart. Uhm watch the movie…. duh. (from Arts and Letters Daily)
